You certainly have heard of the validation services on the web which analyze the Html codes and scripts at web pages and then prepare an online report about them. Many websites are using the validated codes and yet millions of other web resources are containing scripts that are full of mistakes and errors and so are not validated at all and the nice thing is that they are performing great online too. This might sound confusing but please note that having validated codes by itself is no guarantee for top ranking sites and some other things are required for this purpose. But why is it recommended to have codes which are validated? Well, the reason is that since newer generations and versions of Html and web programming codes are being regularly developed and offered online, so gradually, some web trends are being formed for having the error free scripts and web pages in the future and so search engines might prefer and in fact give some minor positive scores to the sites and online pages that are designed and maintained through using the validated codes & scripts.

While surfing the web, you may come across some sites and internet portals that have some seals or text messages which tells of their status as being verified from the codes viewpoints. Their webmasters have already only the codes and scripts which are standard ones and widely used by other sites and contain no web errors. Please note that validation of the codes is not a must for all websites and the resources including personal pages or profiles do not necessarily need having their codes validated. Search engines as well as the web browsing softwares are powerful tools and applications which can read and interpret the codes and scripts being used and found on web resources and sites and although they prefer finding codes that contain limited or no errors, but they still are capable of correctly displaying and representing the elements of websites in a true manner even with the presence of a lot of coding and programming errors found on the net. There are also some degrees of the mistakes and coding errors found at some websites on the internet which is very important.

For example, if you completely forget adding a title to your site's homepage, this will be regarded as a very weak point for your site because neither of the search engines nor people browsing the pages of your site will be able to know what your page is about when the listing is in displayed on the web. But if one of the links at the bottom section of one of your internal web pages has some grammatical errors, well, as you'd agree, such a thing is not regarded as a major or dramatic errors. You see, some mistakes are not even counted to be important but anyways having them reviewed by the online validation systems is recommended. Search engines recently have been reported to like the sites that have codes and scripts of the standard nature and the ones that are validated and this is quite natural of course because validation of the codes is the recommended path towards maintaining a smooth running site and internet portal. From a visitor's point of view, there are no big differences if a site's codes are actually validated and accredited or not because the important items like ease of browsing the pages as well as having useful contents and pages are more important factors for web surfers.
